Flying kangaroos, USB, an HP Mini and near Nirvana
By David HAGUE
I love travelling by aircraft; it is nicely relaxed, quiet and a time for contemplation and idea storming amongst yourself. Put on a pair of noise cancelling headphones, some good Mike Oldfield or Pink Floyd and let the mind wander.
This is what netbooks were designed for I reckon; occasional notes in Evernote while thinking thoughts from marketing ideas to story ideas, lyrics to – well anything really.’
Your thoughts can crystallise whilst sipping on a chardy or a VB (which are even free on Qantas as are the meals which get better all the time). And now its even better as the flight I was on today from Sydney to Perth was a brand panking new Airbus A330-200 with huge seating room, USB connectivity AND laptop power!
This is aviation Nirvana and I didn’t want it to stop. This is the best office on Earth right now. All the tools of the trade - well barring direct ‘net connection but that'll happen soon too) and no interruptions.
Bring on more I say!
