IMHO...

I don't game anymore... I did for decades...

I bought the 58" Panasonic VT25. I love watching sports in 3d. The All Star game amazed me as you could see the break on the pitches, you could also see hits tail away. It just seems to give you a better perspective on space and time inside the game.

I also think American Football will benefit greatly from 3d. The low shots will really accentuate the running game.

The glasses aren't much diiferent then wearing sunglasses... If you can don those for hours at the beach... what's the difference?

I think our interests just lie in different areas and both will sell 3d tv's.

I like the sports, you like the gaming, and between the both of us, and a 3rd sect who are zealous about movies maybe 3d has a chance to survive, instead of being a niche fad.

I think you are right Adam. Video games are going to be a huge part of 3D entertainment because it is the most likely environment that people will not mind wearing glasses. I think this also provides some insight into "who" will be using 3D technology. I think kids will lead the marketplace, encouraging their parents to buy 3D entertainment. Kids will not care about wearing glasses and they will probably think its fun. They will also be most impressed with 3D visuals, and most resistant to give up 3D effects.
